Discontinued // Lush haul

Shock shock , I'm back and with another lush haul , I just can't get enough of that place and when they have a 50% off all halloween & christmas products I just couldn't ignore!

By the time I got there a lot of stock was gone but these are the few I managed to grab!

Hot Toddy // shower gel

I mentioned this is my last lush haul post but I only bought the tiny bottle well they had the biggest ones and I grabbed it for around £6! over the most as I loved using it over christmas  and didn't want it too finish! If you like cinnamon and glitter this is a good pick.

Ambrosia // Shaving cream

I've never been one for shaving cream or foam I usually just use soap but Ive heard really great things about Lush's creams and picked up this one , I haven't used it yet but done a tester on the back of my hand and it left it incredibly soft so fingers crossed it does the job.

Bath bombs

A trip to lush just isn't complete without picking up some bath bomb , I can't remember the names of these as they were just giving items in a paper bag without labels but I think the blue one is Shooting star and then So white. These as well were end of line so you can't buy them anymore.

Mini lush haul // November

This past month has just been insane for me and I've had little time to even think about blogging which has made me feel really incomplete!! Now that I'm back on track and in routine i'm back to doing what I love.

I thought I would just jump right in with a little lush haul , a few things from the christmas range and a few just golden oldies!

Basically this is the second time i've bought this stuff in the space of a month because my first attempt I left lying somewhere for a lucky person to pick up (not intentional) but I can't go too long without having a lack of lush products in my life so I replaced them all.

Now onto the part everyone is here for!

Hot toddy // shower gel £3.95

This product is from their christmas range , a gorgeous burgundy colour with shimmery gold sprinkles in it to dd that festive feeling! This has a little biota a manly smell to it, quite spice but none the less still gorgeous and moisturising!

Melting snowman // Bath melt £2.25

This very sad looking snowman is very similar smelling to the hot toddy shower gel except this one, made with almond oil and cocoa butter , so super smoothing and relaxing , just pop this in the bath and let the little guy do his thing. Although i'm quite upset to realise he should have had a orange nose , mines must have fell off!

Snow fairy sparkle // Massage bar £4.95

This gorgeous snow fairy delight is my favourite , smells exactly like all the other snow fairy items which I'm sure you have all tried out! With a gorgeous silver sparkle through it too make you look glowing and left smelling like... well an angel!

Candy mountain // bubble bar £2.75

Last but certainly not least is good old candy mountain , not in the christmas range but just always one I can't get enough off with its calming colours and sweet smell I always make sure I pick this up, it's also a very similar smell too the rockstar soap which I'm also a big fan of!

Thats its for my lil mini lush haul , thanks for reading!!

Loving this week #2

I have the Friday feeling and to start it off I'm doing my loving this week.

 Lush // The Godmother Soap

This soap has been a long time favourite of mines , that can't be cheating! Just so refreshing and smells like heaven! to say the least.

Herschel // Macbook case

After getting my macbook trying to find a case I liked was harder than the decision to actually buy a Macbook but after being dragged into TK Max one day ( not the biggest fan of the shop) I came across this little beauty for a bargain at £10. I had seen Herschel cases before on the Apple store and ebay but they were always way out of my price range so being able to find this was so exciting, best part about it is the fur lining inside!

Rimmel // Apocalips lip velvet

Okay so my history of lip products have been lipstick with a big giant full stop , but after browsing Boots one day I seen the new velvet apocalips, I've obviously heard of the range before as it always hyped about but shiny , sticky lipgloss is my idea of a nightmare,I thought I would give the velvet one a try as I knew this wouldn't be a lipgloss texture. I can't rave about this product enough , I got Atomic rose which is a nude. the texture is to die for, very silky , it does dry in but doesn't dry out your lips, I would definitely recommend this too anyone who isn't a fan of lipgloss like me.

Barbera Ann Kipfer // 14,000 things to be happy about

I bought this book a while ago for decoration in my room really but only had a flick through a couple of days ago. I thought it would be lovely for those days you're feeling quite negative or something has got you down, this book with definitely cover why you should be happy!

H&M // Crop Jumper

I picked up this jumper for the colour , I thought it was perfect for autumn with its lovely mustard colour and would be lovely for layering, I got it in large and it is cropped but not very much.I don't know if it was just cause I got it in large I don't see the cropped.
I may have went back and picked up the pale pink one (whoops)

So that my favourites of the week, comment below and let me know if you're also enjoying any of these or not enjoying!

Evening cleansing routine

Today I thought I would show you all my evening cleansing routine.

I start off by removing my make up with the Camomile silky cleansing oil//Body Shop and a flannel cloth , I don't use it to take off my eye make up and it leaves them all blurry and not very nice.

I then go in with my  Kind to eyes eye make up remover//Simple to take off my mascara , I bought this as it was 3 for 2 on mini products and I was buying things anyway, but I love it now and will definitely be purchasing the full size bottle when this runs out.

I then use my Let the good times roll cleanser//Lush which I have been obsessed with, smells like cake and it exfoliates , what more it there to love , I tend to not use this all the time as it is quite harsh to the skin.
If i'm feeling like I want to extra pamper myself I use my Cupcake fresh face mask//Lush, smells like chocolate and looks like chocolate.
I tend to buy a lot of sweet face products or body products but I'm more of a savoury person!

I then finish with my La Roche - Posey//Cicaplast Baume B5 , this is a restoring lotion and works amazing on my skin at night.
I then use a light application of my Waitrose//Pure facial oil and I really mean light application I feel even with one drop of this product is too much so If you choose this as a facial oil be gentle!

Thanks for reading :) If you would like to see some other kind of routine let me know in the comments below!

Loving this week #1

What have I been loving this week ( beauty wise ) I'm going to make this a regular thing , ever week if you hadn't guessed that and feature a few items that have impressed me. This won't always been beauty items.

I know this is quite a popular post but I think it'll be a lot easier than massive hauls and ranty reviews.

So first off I took a little trip to Bodyshop to take full advantage of their amazing deal they had on ( finished now) but you were getting 30% off skincare and make up products along with if you spend £20 or more you got a free gift worth £26 which I just couldn't refuse.
For a while I had been wanting to try out the Instablur after seeing so many positive reviews about this. It had a very silky texture and unscented, I got a tip of one of the staff members to dab this on or use a brush to apply it instead of smearing it across your face.
With this product a little definitely goes a long way I just put it on the areas my make up tends to slip off first and not all over which I done with previous primers. I've used this about 6 times now and can say it's my new favourite primer the texture and the stay power it gives are amazing and would recommend to people that have trouble with greasy skin.

The next thing I picked up what a range I heard Rhiannon Ashlee talking about quite often this is the Vitamin C range Bodyshop have. She had explained how much brighter it had made her skin and how healthier it made it. I think in my panic of being a teenager and trying to get rid of spots , my skin was actually very dull and a bit bedraggled, So I picked this up as well, Now on first using the products I was scared as soon as I put some on my fingers there was a very pungent smell ( it was lovely ) but as people who suffer from acne know strong smelling products are never something to be excited about, but I went ahead and tried it. I've been using it for about a week now so I can safely say it hasn't broken me out which was one of the biggest positives.

The next item was the Buffing brush by Real Techniques which came in the core collection set I bought ( I loved all the brushes) but this one in particular was just amazing , the bristles were so soft on the skin and didn't drag , I've used this brush for both both foundation and powder and both uses worked perfect,I've never gotten along with make up brushes too well but I finally joined the Real Techniques party and don't know what I would do without them now

My final product of this weeks favourite product is Lush's cupcake face mask, after trying there cleanser I realised my skin was going to be fine with their products and wanted to invest in a really nice face mask that was also beneficial.
This one in particular is for people who are partial to breakouts, the face mask smells very sweet but my favourite part about this product is you have to keep it in the fridge so when you do come to use it , it is so cooling on the skin and I much prefer that to heating masks!
I've only used this once but it left my skin perfectly soft!

Skincare routine

Today I thought I would make a post about my skincare routine and upkeep! There is nothing too special to my skincare I like to keep my products affordable but also getting the best quality I can find. I feel like this wouldn't be my very final skincare that will work forever, but for now it seems to be keeping my skin healthy and improving it each day I have combination skin so it is difficult to find products that will agree with my skin but enough of my rambling, hope this helps :) x

First off I like to use the tea tree range from The Body Shop for washing my face etc I find this is the most effective as it leaves such a cooling feeling and for someone that suffers from acne it is such a relief after wearing make up.I only use the scrub every 3-4 days as my skin is so sensitive it was irritate it too much, when I do use this I mix it with the facial wash which I use everyday and I this gives it a bit of a softer feel,I then use the tea tree oil which is handy for multiple thing but I just put it onto a cotton pad and apply it directly to acne on my skin this product I've only started using so I'm not sure yet if this effective.

I use the simple range as it so gentle on the skin you don't feel like you are slapping your face with harsh products, with the toner is just feels like water but really fresh smelling,I always use this before I go to bed and sometimes use during the day if I'm having a non make up day and it's so refreshing.I also use the cleanser, this is perfect at taking my make up off and soothing the skin,I don't use this too often as I'm lazy and just like to skim my face with a baby wipe but when I do find the effort to use it I feel very moisturised and fresh!and the third product I use is their moisturiser, not much to say about this,it does what is says on the tin and does it well :)

And my last and favourite product is grease lightning spot treatment by lush, lush is an all time favourite of mines I can't enter that shop without leaving with a ton of new products to try out, this I actually bought a very long time ago which impresses me all the more due to the fact I have still a ton of product left. It's made for blemished, acne prone skin and they use gentle ingredients such as carrageen seaweed, aloe vera and sea water all mixed into a gel formula which is so easily to apply and dries in no time, now this product does leave the skin dried out but what I like to do is apply my moisturiser on top and refrain from using it every night but other than that it leaves a massive improvement for such a reasonable price.

Thank you so much for reading and hope this wasn't too rambley :)
