Travel make up bag // October

I thought I would do a post on what I take in my travel make up bag i.e. travelling to work, unfortunately not on holiday!

I used to take crazy amounts and never use half of it so I got a new make up bag out of Primark and thought I would cut down what I was taking!

For brushes I picked up the Real Techniques mini must haves which you can find at superdrug for £7.99! They are perfect travel size and have the same great quality as full size Real Techniques , I carry two full size ones , the contour brush which I used for blending concealer and applying powder and the detailer brush for those awkward little creases and you can never go wrong with a pair of tweezers!

Like I said I used to take my whole face make up with me but I now I just take bare essentials , I usually take foundation even if I don't use it to sort my make up never know where I might end up and its just a safety net!

Concealer , eyebrow pencil and lipstick are my must haves!! I always end up rubbing off my eyebrows and I always need things concealed. Powder is usually another essential but this little Soap and Glory Concealer beauty has a power in it! saving space is my game!

I tend to always carry two lipsticks as I wear a nude to work but might be going out afterwards and like to use a more bold colour so I pop two in the morning.

What is the Hersheys lip balm I can hear you say, from Primark for £1 I wasn't expecting much but it is the tastiest lip balm Ive ever had and really moistening for the time it stays on my lips which doesn't tend to be long!

Soap and glory // Archery 2 in 1 brow filling pencil & brush.

As you lovely people have probably noticed I am becoming obsessed with Soap and Glory's make up range , Ive tried there lipsticks and concealers but I hadn't got around to trying the raved and hyped up eyebrow filling pencil 'Archery' mainly because every time I went to my soap and glory stand in my local boots they were all sold out! but luckily I found one just laying they're a couple of days ago and grabbed it straight away

A few bloggers have been saying it's a lot like the Anastasia brow wiz , but cheaper! I haven't tried the Anastasia brow wiz myself but I trusted what they said and went ahead and bought Archery.

Ive always been a powder girl for my eyebrows and I felt pencil always went wrong so I steered clear , but apon buying Archery I don't think I would ever go back to powder now.

The finish the product gives is incredible,It has quite a creamy consistency and the colour is just perfect.

The only downside I have to this product is it's only in two shades ,Blondshell & Hot chocolate. Just luckily enough the hot chocolate was not too dark.

Soap & Glory // Make up haul

Good old boots has done it again with there incredibly eye-catching deals. This week I seen  'buy one get one half price' on the Soap and Glory stand and just thought well any opportunity to take up a great offer! So I did I went and took that great offer up

I was already in there to find a concealer and after keeping stocking Collections lasting perfection for a good year I thought it's time for something new.

Now i'm not going to lie packaging is so important to me , I'm so bad cause if somethings looks nice i'll buy it straight away. Soap & Glory is just amazing packaging on the outside and the product.

Here is what I picked up.

Soap & Glory // Kick ass concealer.

Well this the beauty is just a great. This has a three step system.

Step 1 - conceal under eyes

Step 2 - conceal blemishes

Step 3 - powder 

As I said I had been looking around boots for something new and exciting to add to my make up bag and that I could try out different things with, I've never used different concealer for my under eyes than for my blemishes so thought this would be a great place to start, I'm quite partial to dark eye circles. I also loved the idea of the powder to set this in place, anything that keep my make up on for longer it a massive yes to me!

Soap and Glory // Super colour fabu lipstick

I picked up three of these , I got too powder coat matte ones and you can guess are very matte on the lips which I love the two colour were Pom Pom & Super nude, I seem to have become obsessed with nude lips and out of all the ones I've tried this one has got to be my favourite , just the seep colour and the stay power , also find matte things can dry out my lips really quickly but I never felt that with the lipstick. Pom Pom is a gorgeous deep pink colour, this apply gorgeous and also I've used this quite a few times now and doesn't dry out.
The next one I bought was just from the normal range 'Perfect day' cue Lou Reed. This is the one in the gold packaging.The colour is like a pinky nude , I'm really rubbish at describing what things look like, this goes on really sheer and glossy but still gorgeous on the lips.

I thought all these colours are perfect for Autumn!

What's in my bag?

Well they day that I have decided to do this post,I've been caught on a good bag day.When It come to my daily handbag I get a little over prepared for any situation to happen (everything but the kitchen sink is in it) but believe me if I could fit that it would be in there too.

but for some reason I seemed to have cut this down, maybe due to the fact I now travel everyday and there is nothing worse than a heavy handbag and never being able to find anything in it! so here's a little look into the essentials I carry along with me!

First off I always carry a magazine with me and of course it has to be Company, long journeys are definitely made more easy with this!

make up is just a must in my bag,cause I have quite oily skin I need to make sure everything stays in it place when i'm out of the house for so long,Along with hand sanitiser & hand cream since i'm a bit of a germaphobe 

Obviously a purse is essential and some perfume to keep fresh i'm using Vera Wang's princess but usually flip between this and Calvin Klein euphoiria! and talking about keeping fresh I always carry a tin of batiste as I am partial to playing with my hair too much and some chewing gum!

My Soap and Glory obsession

So just like 90% of the population i'm a soap and glory hoarder(feels better to admit)

This all started about 2 years ago and over this time I have tested,threw out,emptied an number of there items and up to this point this is what I am left with 

To some this may not be much and I agree I could do with a lot more if I had the space!

A few are duplicates but plenty supply makes me feel better

These here are my favorite products! 
Starting with the righteous butter this is so creamy and smells so light on your skin it's brilliant for the summer time!
The endless glove hand cream is heavenly yet again smelling just amazing it's leave your hands so soft and I always use the hand maid before the glove to give my hands a treat!
Butter yourself is lovely as you can tell by the fact I own three of these it feels a little moosey but incredibly smoothing!
And my last favorite is calm one calm all bubble bath, this is just amazing after a long day! you only need about 2 cap fulls so this lasts a while, it smells so calming and moisturizes your skin whilst your in the bath it is heavenly 

Now my least favorites, as you can tell there is not much that I don't like about Soap and Glory.
The first one would have to be the scrub your nose in it face scrub and the only complaint I have about this is it breaks me out, I have tried it many times bu always the next day have broke out but this is my own fault for buying this as my face is incredibly sensitive and this is strong smelling and very exfoliating but for somebody with normal skin I would definitely recommend this  
Now the scrub em and leave em body buff, on my body I like rough exfoliater this just doesn't do the job for me but it does smell gorgeous!
